Jon Stuart Tiner was born in Shreveport, LA on September 12, 1970. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Management and Communications from Spring Hill College in 1999, graduating magna cum laude. While attending Spring Hill College, he was a member of the Pinnacle Honor Society. He earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2004 from Creighton University School of Law.

Jon is admitted to practice law before the Mississippi Supreme Court; all states courts of Mississippi; the Northern and Southern District of Mississippi; and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

The bar admissions to which Jon belongs include the Mississippi Bar Association; the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association; the Harrison County Bar Association and the Harrison County Bar Young Lawyers Division.

The areas of law in which Jon focuses his practice are General Liability and Civil Practice.

Jon and his wife Sadie reside in Gulfport, MS with their daughters, Grayson and Margaret. They attend St. John’s Catholic Church in Gulfport, MS.
