Amanda Murray Schwartz was born in Cookeville, TN on August 8, 1981. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Economics from Emory & Henry College in 2002, graduation surnma cum laude. She earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2005 from Wake Forest University. During law school, she participated in the Litigation Clinic, Pi Alpha Delta, Women in Law and served as a guardian ad litum. She also received the CALl award in Criminal Procedure.

After graduation and prior to joining the firm, Amanda held judicial clerkship for the Honorable Glen M. Williams, United
States District Court Judge for the Western District of Virginia in Abingdon, Virginia from August 2005 until July, 2006.

In addition to practicing law in Mississippi, Amanda is also admitted to practice in North Carolina and Florida.

Amanda is admitted to practice law before the Mississippi Supreme Court; all states courts of Mississippi; the Northern and Southern District of Mississippi; the Eastern and Middle District of North Carolina and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
