Haley was published in the Gaming Law Review.  She authored "Contributions of the Gaming Industry in Mississippi and Present Risks that the Industry Faces:  A Proposal for Mississippi Casinos to be Moved Onto Land," in April 2005. Haley was a member of the University of Mississippi Moot Court Executive Board, Honor Council and Phi Delta Phi Honor Society. While in law school, she participated in the University's Civil Legal Clinic and Criminal Appeals Clinic, which included representing a criminal defendant on appeal to the Supreme Court of Mississippi.  Haley is listed in the Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities; and she is an Alumni Association member of the University of Southern Mississippi and member of Chi Omega Alumni Association. Haley is admitted to practice law before the Mississippi Supreme Court; all state courts of Mississippi; the Northern and Southern Districts of the United States District Court of Mississippi; and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
